‘May Day Mayhem': Seattle police need help identifying wanted ‘anarchist’ suspects
WANTED IN SEATTLE —
An accused anarchist caught on camera taking his skateboard to a businesses’ glass door in downtown Seattle — one of eight suspects accused of May Day mayhem, who Seattle police need help identifying.
Take a look at the photos released by Seattle police.
The eight suspects are wanted for assault, property damage and rioting in the May Day destruction, in downtown Seattle. Some of the pictures show full faces. Seattle police already arrested 17 people, during the May Day scuffle.
Watch the video showing suspect #8 — the guy in the green shirt — busting a glass door with his skateboard. Video of suspect #1 — the guy wearing the pink bandana over his face — shows him hurling a brick through a window.
Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound says, “During May Day there were a lot of what we called ‘anarchists’ that were loose. These are guys that are not local people. They come in from outside the Seattle area to do nothing but cause havoc. You’re going see their faces. These guys aren’t going to stop. They’re a danger to a lot of businesses, people, and who knows what they’re going to do next. So, if you recognize any of these faces, please call the hotline. We need to get these people in custody, and held accountable for what they did.”
If you recognize any of them, or can help Seattle police figure out who they are, call an anonymous tip into:
