Paul Winklebleck: 3 years after kidnapping 2 women, Portland police still searching for sex offender

winkelbleckWANTED IN PORTLAND, ORE. — Three years after the terrifying kidnapping of two Portland women the hunt is still on for one of Crime Stoppers of Oregon’s top fugitives.

Check out this cell phone photo cops say was snapped of convicted sex offender, Paul Winklebleck, by the women he’s accused of abducting in 2010.

The problem is, Portland police think he’s probably changed his looks by now and could be using a fake name to hide.

Detectives say he preyed on the two women as they came out of the Snoop Dogg concert at the Rose Garden and tricked them into thinking he was a cop, talking them into letting him drive their car to avoid getting a DUI and then kidnapping them. Winklebeck was said to have pulled a knife and assaulted one of the before they were able to escape.

On top of the kidnapping charges, Winklebleck is also wanted for impersonating a cop, assault, robbery and attempted rape. The Department of Corrections is looking for him, too for failing to register as a sex offender.

Winklebeck is 45 years old and has a tattoo that cops say really stands out – the tat goes from the back of his neck to his upper back and says “Combative for God.”

Let’s help Crime Stoppers of Oregon bring in this dangerous, missing sex offender and accused kidnapper.

If you spot Paul Winklebleck, or know where he’s hiding, call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
