Anthony Brown: Fugitive surrenders after seeing himself on WMW

FUGITIVE CAPTURED March 2, 2013 –
Seattle Police say Anthony Brown did the right thing and walked into the East Precinct Saturday to turn himself in on his warrants.
An officer booked him for the $1 million warrant for his arrest in King County.
Brown He says he saw himself on Washington’s Most Wanted Friday night so that’s why he turned himself in.
He walked into the precinct with a woman.
Here is some of the case history: Detectives say on February 19th, the victim awoke to Brown on top of her screaming threats at her. Brown started choking the victim around the neck with his hands. Detectives say he held the victim down by her neck and put his other hand on a sawed-off shotgun which he had in his waistband and told the victim “I’m gonna put this gun in your mouth”. Their 18 year old son came upstairs upon hearing the disturbance and physically separated his father and mother. The victim called 911 and the Brown fled in his vehicle. It was found abandoned in the middle of the road a few blocks away. The sawed –off shotgun was not recovered.
Brown is a convicted felon (Robbery/Assault/Narcotics/Theft/Resisting Arrest), who has been arrested more than 30 times in the past.
Brown was considered Armed and Dangerous, and is the 380th fugitive arrested since Washington’s Most Wanted started in 2008.

WANTED IN SEATTLE –
Seattle police say he’s been armed with a sawed-off shotgun, has a history of robbery, assault, drugs and running from police — and now cops say Anthony Brown is accused of a vicious attack on his wife.

Prosecutor’s issued a $1M dollar warrant for his arrest after Seattle detectives say she woke up on the couch when he started choking her. “She notices during the struggle that he actually has a sawed off shotgun tucked down his pants,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “He puts his hand on the handle of the shotgun, makes some words and some death threats, and says ‘I ought a put this shotgun in your mouth’. Now obviously, this guy has some serious mental problems, hence the million dollar warrant. This guy’s out and about somewhere. We want him captured.”

Cops say Brown’s son pulled him off of her and he took off in his Suburban when they called 911.

It was later found — but he’s in the wind.
